Juliette Acker
Mixed Media Artist and Surface Pattern Designer

I am a Phoenix-based mixed media artist, printmaker, and surface pattern designer. In my work, I am drawn to explorations of emotions, identity, and how our past informs our future. The patterns and colors of the African diaspora are essential to my visual storytelling. My use of these touchstones allows me to transmit layered meaning in my work. As a science fiction fan, I am intrigued by alternate realities and I use this lens to imagine new futures and possibilities.
